What an honour to be receiving this beautiful award. My journey for The Face Awards 2018 HK is finally coming to an end.
Thank You @nyxcosmetics_hk , to their team for building up platforms for artists like us. I’m so honoured and grateful that I could create my vision and bring it to live.
This moment here, is so much bigger than me. It’s such an heartfelt feeling to be up there with this award on my hand. This award is not only for me but for my family, friends, for all the nepalese journalists and reporters who had interviewed me and found mean ways to help vote for me even if some may not have understood the local language. This is graciously dedicated to you.
I remember I was doubting myself in the beginning thinking whether I should join the competition, not because I was scared I wouldn’t win but because I was scared to go public using such a big platform, I thought I wouldn’t be able to create art that I so much love. After hesitations, I chose to take a step forward and went for it following my curiosity and passion. I then began to become lost in my own imagination, I was so inspired by the competition that was happening all over the world.
I would go days just by myself, trying to come up with a great content and it would take me a week to come up with a story to put in the video. I always loved reading stories, they’re truly captivating to me which must probably be why I’ve won the storytelling award.
So thank you for being a part of my journey, thank you for letting someone like me become a part of something so big.
